How’s your thinking?

The quality of our thinking determines the quality of our future.

In order to lead ourselves in life we must consciously build better thinking skills.

In yesterday’s carousel post, I shared some tips.
The below included in tip #2
➡️Don’t believe everything you read.
➡️Refrain from accepting all as truth.
➡️Read multiple sources on the same topic.

These same tips apply to everything we hear.👂

All too often we take the opinion of others as facts 🧐
and without hesitation, accepting what is said – as truth.

Distinguishing opinions from fact can be quite important when we are forming our overall assessment of a situation and deciding upon our response and next steps.

Decisions can be life changing.

🔦To become a better thinker, consider how aware you are of your own biases.

🔦How might these biases influence your response to what you hear and accept as a truth?

🔦To become a better thinker and lead yourself in life, instead of being led by others version of things based on their opinions, pause to question what you hear, get curious, research if necessary and reflect before you unwittingly assimilate someone’s opinion into your library of *facts*

This library of facts can hold great sway over your life and your decisions and the course your life takes.

🧐Isn’t it worth spending time and effort to enhance your thinking skills?

🧠Lead yourself – become a better thinker – lead your life 🧠
