My cloud storage photo library likes to remind me every so often of an “on this day” memory. You might have something similar?
When it pops up sometimes it’s a cringe moment (as I’ve never liked having my photo taken) and sometimes it’s a, wow wasn’t that a great day? Or perhaps something I’d totally forgotten about.
What I notice most though is how much things have changed and how far I’ve travelled.
A few things this photo reminded me of:
🐘How many times I visited India – something I’d never imagined.
🎎Whilst living in Japan in the 90’s a friend asked why I didn’t wear colour. Black was my wardrobe go-to.
🎉Why living life in technicolour, beats monochrome hands down.
🕰️Importantly it reminds me of how much we miss out on by being there and not here.
Be here now. Savour each moment. 😊Happy Friday everyone😊
When did you last stop to reflect on how far have you travelled?
What place holds some of your most treasured memories?
This image was from a friends wedding in Mumbai.
Feel free to share any photo’s of your favourite memories.
