I have to admit it.

📘Reading this research stopped me in my tracks.

Especially as it got me thinking about all the possible implications.

🪞How clearly do you see yourself?

Organisational Psychologist and Executive Coach, Dr Tasha Eurich’s research on self-awareness, may surprise you too.

Her work shows that most people don’t see themselves as clearly as they could.

🔸 “Our data reveals that 95 percent of people believe they are self-aware, but the real number is 12 to 15 percent,” she says. “That means, on a good day, about 80 percent of people are lying about themselves—to themselves.” 🔸

So, what exactly is self-awareness?

At its core, it’s the ability to see ourselves clearly, to understand who we are, how others see us and how we fit into the world around us.

Self-awareness has the potential to enhance virtually every experience you have, as it’s a tool and a practice that can be used anywhere, anytime, to ground yourself in the moment, realistically evaluate yourself and the situation, and help you make good choices.

The list of research backed benefits of building your self-awareness is long.

🔹Dr Tasha, describes it as “the meta skill of the 21st century”🔹
