How fast, are you running?

Feeling plagued by a constant sense of urgency – 

without blinking, thinking or filtering…

I’d given a yes to pretty much every request.

With stress and tension off the charts… in a bid to cope, my autopilot took over.

Without knowing it… 

I was living in Survival Mode.

Despite feeling miserable, exhausted and in denial I dismissed the signs that screamed the way I was living and working weren’t working. 

Convinced I needed to keep running – at least until the end of the day, my body had other plans.

Exhaustion and months of illness, took that daily choice to keep running, out of my hands.

I will never forget the feeling of being floored.
